Hello, yep its the same way really. Are you using osx? or system 9? This is osx but I've got both and it'd be the same for system 9 as far as I know.

So you

1. post reply
2. scroll to the bottom of this page and select manage attachments
3. click 'choose you attachment'
4. find you attachment (its easiest if you've saved in on your desktop)
5. it will then come up in the list
6. click 'Upload' and wait
7. scroll down again to the bottom of this page and you'll see it listed
8. click 'submit reply'

Help!!!!!!!

Claire.....I got lost on # 4. I don't understand how to save my photos on my desktop....My photos are all in iphoto........I've had this mac a year but it didn't come with a manual so I've just been figuring out how to use it....HELP!!!!!!.....CHASING THE PEACE

Ah.. I see. Ok open iphoto.

1. Click once on the photo you want to use and drag it over to the desktop
2. It then makes a copy of the photo from your library in iphoto and puts a
duplicate of it on your desktop.
3. then continue attaching so go to point 4. from the previous thread

as another point when iphoto stores photos they are keep on your hard drive (probably called Macintosh HD) if you:

1. double click on the hard drive
2. it shows applications, system etc
3. on the left hand side there's an icon called 'Pictures', click on it
4. it takes you to iPhoto library
5. inside here there are all your photos
6. be careful doing much here as it can mess up your libraries in iPhoto but you can safety copy your photos from here.
7. the copy them hold down 'alt' key and click once on the file and drag it to the desktop. You should get a little '+' sign which means it making a copy from iPhoto to the desktop

If you have any trouble please ask again and if you have any other mac questions let me know, I can probably help as I use and fix them for work.

I did it!!!!!! I did it!!!! I see that I have to type a message first then scroll down and hit manage attachments and follow through and then the photo will be attached when I hit post reply!!!!!

You must always post text, minimum of 10 characters before any post will submit. You would get a warning notice to the like if you tried anything lower than 10 characters. Well done wildfire...
