Peer support subsequent to trauma contributes to full recovery

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) -- including complex trauma (cPTSD) -- is debilitating, breaking down the body through anxiety and stress, and it poses a significant suicide risk in sufferers. MyPTSD seeks to help and inform those who are directly or indirectly affected by these conditions through peer-to-peer support and educational resources.

      Thanks Jestadud.

The rounded number is already here, as we have been together 10 years today too. When I think back to what we have done in such a short time, I wonder if this could all realy be done in 10 years.

But take the 3 years of PTSD away, and we did most of it in the first 7. :thumbs-up

Still got a life time to live and enjoy together yet.

      Now that is scary

Welcome back. I hope you had a great holiday.

Ok so Germany beat England, but as Germany is now out of the world cup it's all square.
    3. Jestadud
      Yes totally agree,
    4. amethist
Wondered if you had the same thoughts as me over th World Cup.

OK so we would really, really love England to win, but being the sensible type's, probably this is not going to happen. Sooooo, was thinking that the way it is playing out at the moment, maybe a lower team will win. Like Japan, Uruguay or even Ghana.

      Enjoy your holiday.

"Wish granted, your neighbour has a complete rethink of his work life balance and decides to only work on his house in the afternoon.

Unfortunately this gives him more time for his hobbies which include chainsaw sculpting and playing rock on his bagpipes."

Dude. I had to friend-request you after that.

      Hi Jesta,

Whitby is on the Yorkshire east Coast, about 70 miles fom us. But if you are in london anything north of Watford is abroad to you.

How do I message back so quick, as my location says I am "In The Land Of Majic And Mystery"
    18. amethist
:rofl:How did you guess, but more like round a camp fire on the beach at whitby. No space to move on my dinning table for paper work, and my Sunday best have not seen the light of day for years.

      MMM feel another wish surfacing.
    19. amethist
Glad your enjoying it, that was the idea though, to give everyone a bit of a laugh for a change.

I actually pinched it from another web site. When I told them how well it was going, they told me I can use anything else which may help lift the mood on here.

So watch this space, not sure what will be next. I have to leave it alone sometimes too, I think of some crazy stuff, but like you leave it for others.

Didn't mean to ignore you Dude, somehow I just "lost your message and just stumbled upon bad! Yea I had a bone disease that was eating away both of my hip sockets. The doctors didn't want to do the surgery because they said I was "too young" (52) and I said if not I was going to kill myself because the pain was so bad.
So in 2006 I had them both replaced (ten weeks apart) and it has taken the last 3 years to get back my full mobility and now feel pretty good...except I've developed a squeek when I move my right leg a certain way...kinda feel like the Tinman after a shower! Otherwise, life is good :)

      Peace and Hope...jefferylee
