Re-reading his words makes me want to throw up

"Keep it up and I'm gone"
"I don't need your crap"
"You piss me off"
"You make me miserable"
"You can be replaced"
"You are such a wimp"
"You're a child"
"I don't like you anymore"
"You don't do anything for me"
"You don't make me happy"
"I'm not attracted to you anymore"
"I don't like you anymore"
"I like being single better"

Without context of what has happened, it's hard to comment.

Things he says when mad. Happens 1-3 times a week. No personal attacks or insults from my side.

Compilation of different things he's said from the last week. A few more specific/hurtful ones left out for anonymity's sake. These are the most commonly repeated ones.

So, rather than deal with em on a one for one basis, you're lumping em all up. Even on a one for one the comments are insensitive and demeaning so what you going to do about that?

I feel like we go through the exact same thing each time, word for word. So I compiled a list to compare similarities. Seeing it all there in one long list took me aback.

I don't know what I am going to do about it.

I'm not sure if there is a deal with them on a one for one basis scenario, as reasoning or responding when he is mad is counterproductive.

And what did he have to say for himself?

You can:
Accept it
Change it
Or leave

If you want to change it, he HAS to do all the hard work.

IMO

I don't know how much responsibility for his words he truly takes or how much he just actually believes his behavior is all because of me. It's hard to talk about it afterward without setting him off again.

He apologized eventually, but it's hard to stop the things he said about me from rattling around in my head.
