Greetings. I'm a newbie. I love the smileys. I hate the PTSD.

    Long story short:
    ...born.
    ...met my family.
    ...'twas messed up.:boxing:
    ...only got worse.
    ...too much crap going on.
...bad place to grow up in. :gunem-dow
    ...it messed me up.
...depression, eating disorder, self-harm, and the like. :dontknow:
    ...started therapy three years ago.
    ...long road. :crazy-eye
...denial, belief, denial, grieving, denial, avoidance, "forgetting," and oh - crap!
    ...I DO remember.
...and I get to clean up the mess now.:drugs:

    Cheers.

Just curious because of the way you posted... fast, sharp, too the point statements, top of the head, moment type writing. That is why I asked, because you may off just written like that because your nervous about opening up within a public forum like this, as we all do initially. But you answered no, hence why I asked. Nothing to worry about, just curious.

So losses, what was messed up within your family to give your PTSD? Abuse, violence, sexual abuse, assault?

    PTSD from family issues

Losses, the way you quickly described your life was remarkable. You seem to be a very intelligent and creative person. I have ptsd from family issues as well and with all of them living so close the triggers happen all the time. Anyway, I just wanted to say "hello" to you. I'm new to this as well. Look forward to talking...Take Care Keep going:smile:

    Hey losses
Got to love the family sh**.
Maybe we could just tradem in for a better model:dontknow:

Glad you're here, some times the easiest way to say stuff is to just say it. Not that that makes any sense. Of course sometimes when you have to admit stuff actually happen (mainly cos the memories keep bighting youon the ass):crazy-blu so personal experience there
Anyway, sometimes when you have to admit stuff actually happened it is sop hard to share cos to say it/ write it down, it makes it real.

    Glad you foud us :moon:
