I almost can't post any more ,,,, some post make me feel the pain so deep down it kills me,, I want to help but guess I say the wrong thing ,, maybe share to much ,, maybe just to politically incorrect ,,, when I want to screem incorectly ,, ,, No I will not use the smiles I want ,,,, some thing here help me get closer to what i need to do ,,, but for the most part I don't feel very confident about this or feel very good in this place ,,,

:thumbs-up Beatle, I do understand having many things I read and observe trigger deeply unresolved emotions of mine. Emotions I've gotten away from through many skilled avoidance behaviors, while still willing to accept other personal feelings.

Perhaps you can read and make use of the 'Primary Anger Feelings:' [DLMURL]http://www.ptsdforum.org/thread1459.html[/DLMURL]
or the 'Iceburg of emotions:' [DLMURL]http://www.ptsdforum.org/thread12.html[/DLMURL] If you will try to identify what you're feeling and what exactly is troubling you, it may help. Talk about, get it out, vent it. You're certain to learn something.

Both the above threads are in the Anger Manag. sect. of the Info. forum. Fretting saying much more.... Just know, beatle I really do care and just now hoping to help you push past and delve further, discover and continue to help yourself heal. As much as you want.

I'm here not bc I searched out and found this forum while in the process of looking for friends. Truth is I appreciate the bond of having something signif. and deeply in common with everyone I read hear, or get to know, but my work which lay before and ahead is all so much bigger than this.

I feel and believe, that I have got to take control of my PTSD Now. However slow or fast the process. And, as long as I'm breaking through old concepts and learning from others........in many, many, many ways here on the forum and in my life, than there's hope. A great deal of hope. I need this hope, I've proven I'll sicken and destroy myself, while accidentally dragging others down along the way, without hope.

You know beatle the very questions you're asking yourself, up above in quotes, ...I find it's common and normal to ask myself all sorts of questions, ...and I learn from all of them. And, thank you God that no one's directly answering them for me, bc answers to questions such as these can only rightfully serve when they come from within.

So beatle, you asked and so I'm trying, going out on a limb, and suggesting that while you feel you can't post...then read. No sh't Beatle, I find the Anger Management Info. section very helpful to me.

    sincerely, goingonhope

Beatle hang in there mate you have a lot of problems try and pick away at them one by one not as a group.I agree with one statement you made deal with your problems the way it suits you and if it makes you feel better so be it bugger everyone else.I hope you have a friend you can talk to on a one on one basis if not just click on my button.Try not to talk about the past even though it haunts us all, day by day.Try and deal with what is happening to you today not yesterday.I like to walk a lot some times I dont know when to stop, it helps.Sometimes it makes you think more and sometimes it can be more negative than positive.I have another little game I play now and it either helps or makes me more antisocial. What I do is make sure I tidy myself up as sometimes I will lock myself in for two or three days and not worry about personal hygiene too much,WHO CARES.Anyway what I do is say hello to everyone I pass its amazing how many people ignore you some even cross the road. But the main thing it makes me feel good about myself.I find now that some people that recognise me say hello first and thats even better.Anyway mate any time you want to talk click on .Regards Porky Rees

I have tried all those things and have had about the same result's with each suggestion you gave ,, ,, ,, Thats funny ,, I will not give up though ,, ,,
But my house is looking bad at the moment ,, Like you say who cares ,, no one comes over here anyway ,, ,, ,, Porkyrees thanks for the Ideas ,, ,,
When I was trying to wake this morning I was thinking I should start to exercise again ,, ,, because that and the outdoors have always bin my greatest source of contentment ,, But some times that in it self can be isolation ,, ,, ,, so we keep trying to distract our minds but never get to the route of the problem ,,

I will keep moving forward one way or the other ,, ,, Beatle

PS can some one draw a Beetle Bailey avatar for me ?

Hang in there with us Beatle. !! I know sometimes when I read the forum, it hurts. I feel bad, I want to help, & it just makes me worse. Once in awhile I take a 'day off' from the forum. We all care for each other and want to help, I found that just having you guys here is alot of help for me. You dont have to give me great advice or solve my problems, just knowing that you all feel like me - makes me know I'm not as alone as I feel.

    thanks to both of you

I did get out today ,,not till after noon tho ,,,, but I checked out a retreat and took a good long walk on a beautiful harbor jetty { it is about 1000 yards long } got to see some good stuff while out there ,, ,, ,, It helped a bit ,, ,, I hate cities ,, always found the country livin satisfying ,, ,, Porkyrees ,,, ,,,

You are very right vcc123 ,,, ,, I don't want some one to fix me ,, ,, Just guide me towards the direction where I can work it out for myself ,, ,, ,, I can not fix me ,, ,,But with proper guideance the right help and God can have at me ,, they have already helped me tremendosly,,,,,,

I don't feel quite so alone ether,, :walking: walking thru all this crud ,, Beatle
