Staff Wanted - Staff Found! Welcome New Moderators

Please welcome our new staff members: @desiderata310, @Justmehere, and @Sighs

They've been in training for awhile, and are ready to transition into being active Moderators.

This is as good a time as any to remind people - all staff members are volunteers; none are compensated for the time they spend moderating.

(The administrators - myself, and @Nicolette - and @anthony, the founder, are also all volunteers. The forum survives thanks to donations from members who give when they can, a little or a lot. Did you notice that we are doing a fundraising raffle this month? Check it out! :whistling:)

Moderators are also members, and nothing changes about that. They post, just like everyone - with problems, opinions, struggles, successes, and all the rest of it. While moderators are expected to model best-practice in the ways they use the forum, that does not mean they are expected to put a lid on their opinions, or be in a 'healthier' place in their recovery journey, or suddenly be experts in any area of PTSD. They have peer relationships on this forum that they are responsible for keeping separate from their staff duties; and you can trust them to navigate that.

We manage the forum as a team. If you see a moderator online, you may feel tempted to just message them directly about some problem in chat, or a thread issue, or a question you have. Do not do that. You will not get an answer back, except for a default message telling you to open a help-ticket. Help tickets can be accessed via the main menu.

Thanks, @desiderata310 @Justmehere and @Sighs - we are excited to have you on staff!
