Peer support subsequent to trauma contributes to full recovery

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) -- including complex trauma (cPTSD) -- is debilitating, breaking down the body through anxiety and stress, and it poses a significant suicide risk in sufferers. MyPTSD seeks to help and inform those who are directly or indirectly affected by these conditions through peer-to-peer support and educational resources.

The Holiday Train

    The holiday train is making it's rounds again. I have yet to see it but it came through my city last night. Here is the schedule of the train. Don't forget if you able to go it to bring a non perishable food to help the needy.

    I wish I could see it too. But the parking is the pitts where it stops in my city. And I can't do a lot of walking.
    This is put on by the Canadian Pacific Railway.

    The 14-car train, decorated with hundreds of thousands of Christmas lights.

    The singers are Sydney Grigg and Willy Porter, plus Santa Claus are the entertainment.

    They do this for charity. And everything they collect goes to the community where they stop in, since they do a food drive.

    That's great, it must be pretty heart warming as an experience to volunteer to such an experience.
