And I love this wheel
My husband and I are in the THICK of it again after feeling some clearing.

My T helped me come to grips with not making any decisions while being emotionally charged

And I sent this to my husband who has a hard time identifying feeling and we both just shared all of our emotions on the wheel for the present only and I actually think it's extremely useful already and may help others.

i have wondered a time or 50 if this is the most important skill set i learned in psychotherapy. making decisions under the influence of intense emotional charges has led me to some truly boneheaded decisions. no matter how urgent the decision, pausing for some grounding exercises has been a good investment, every time.

then we get to discussing those intense emotions with the people who share them with me. . . graphic aids can help. . .

Yep, it's not good to make decisions whilst angry, sad or upset. 99.9% of the time it just leads to more hurt and pain and trouble. I've learnt that the hard way.

There was a picture here before. I found it online. If you wanna check it out
Sideways to the rescue!!

You can find a copy of the feelings wheel by Googling "Feelings Wheel". But to save you time? Here's an example: What am I feeling?
