Sufferer Workplace Trauma - Is it normal to have nightmares, triggers, a fear of the kid not surviving?

Im new to the group. I have PTSD from a workplace trauma. Insaw a mans hand cut off and I had to provide medical treatment to him. I habe nightmares, loud noise triggers and fear of the kid not surviving. Is this normal?

You are experiencing PTSD. Get into EMDR therapy. It is the gold standard for the symptoms. It's hard work,but you are worth help
