I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this post, but I couldn't find anywhere else to put it.

My 13 year old son has been having problems with a kid at school who is 15. This kid has been calling him names, telling him he's shaped like an egg and calling him egg, punching him in the arm when no adults are around, excluding him from hanging out with the other teens...and the list goes on and on. My son has been having self-esteem issues as a result and he hasn't been feeling safe at school. So, on Monday, he and I wrote a list of things that were going on with this bully and brought it to the attention of the founder of the school. That was the best thing we could have done. My son wrote two complaints about this other kid's behavior and it got taken to JC (judicial comity), where the kids in the school resolve issues. If the issue can't be resolved in JC it's referred to the school meeting. Anyway, his issues were referred to the school meeting and the whole school voted that the bully can't be within arms reach of my son, and that he cannot talk to him for the remainder of the year. Now my kid feels safe again and wants to be at school from open to close. I'm so happy about it. Just thought I would share :-) I hope you're all doing well!
