It might sound kind of goofy, but as I have no family or friends but my dogs & cats, I cook them a huge turkey with all the fixings and once thats been wolfed down I snuggle up with my all-time favourite Christmas movie, Die Hard and then sleep until the holidays are over.
Ditto that @ladee - I think taking a break is a good thing and if you're ready to do so, any good therapist would absolutely accept that you want change. When I broke with mine this summer, I made sure she knew how so very much what she was able to do with me has helped in this recovery process...
Best news of story of the week happened here in hicksville when some criminal masterminds stole a front end loader and drove it through the rear of the Scotia Bank ...the hole was enormous! They quickly realised the flaw in the plan, however, and made hasty get away - you see, the vault, deposit...
Super thread @Sietz - love the positive vibes! So often we are focused on the troubles and maybe do not recognise how much we have to celebrate now & remember the pre-trauma successes & celebrate them ✌
Hi @Junebug and @piratelady - just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the conversation on your last posts. @Junebug - I think what you said about changing the song, not turning off the music was one of the most brilliant remarks I've ever heard and thank you so much for sharing that thought...
Wow - super cool programming to attach the videos! And, I am really looking forward to spinning some of your selections and catching some new tunes. FYI, if the data-devouring contents of the download had actually been what was described - I would be enjoying Counting Crows August and Everything...

Have a good day & thanks again :)
I painted my first ever canvas today. It was hard fight to get it out but I'm really glad I did it. Think I would try art therapy again, except interpretive dance.
I just let my fingers do the driving - Very much enjoy the articles & forums. The forum helps create, promote and support some interesting friendships and cliques and I like that the opportunity is there to grow virtual friendships. I'd like to see some different threads created to promote more...
Grateful most of all today to the ladies who spent the last 6 Thursday afternoons "Finding Our Voices" and the most awesome program facilitator I could've wished for to lead the very first touchy-feely group therapy sessions I have attended.Next week we start "Growth Circle" & I am glad she will...
@Junebug - those are really hard questions to answer, lots of people struggle with just the same thoughts - I hope some good feedback comes your way we can all share in
