9th Wedding Aniversary, 12 Years Together

Today is our 9th wedding aniversarry and we met on a blind date for his 4oth birthday 12 years ago today.

It has been one hell of a ride, but to be honest we would not have had it any other way. We have done so much together, including going through all of the ups and downs of PTSD.

Tonight we are going out for a Chinese meal, the first night out since PTSD invaded our lives. Hubby decided this is what he wanted to do, he booked it himself, a big step forward for him.

He bought me this while we were on holiday a few weeks back, to go with the earrings he bought me last year for my birthday.

I just hope his present comes in the post today.

:hilarious: His Birthday present just arrived, which was ordered after his wedding anniversary present. So it will be Monday now before his anniversary present arrives.

MMM now do I give him them the other way round, but he knows what his aniversarry present is, but not his birthday.

I gave him his gift that should have been his birthday present today. He was chuffed to bits with it, it is a T shirt form his favorite Formula 1 team.

I have found it funny how to people who don't deal with PTSD as part of their lives they would say that's not such a big step more like a baby step, but the fact is what your husband has done is a HUGE step. Congratulations to him too!
