tourist spit
Uhm... I don't think they like it, when tourists spit... šŸ˜ - But now I know what Schwingen was invented for; Self-Defense against certain tourists! šŸ¤£ šŸ˜Ž
Schwingen (wrestling)
Sigh... "Schwingen" is Not the same as wrestling. - It would break every Swiss "Schwinger's" heart to be called a wrestler. Wanna proof? Have a look :
esv.ch - Eidgenƶssischer Schwingerverband ā€¢ Schwingen (Just look at those guys...) šŸ˜²

Dear @Teasel, I really do love and appreciate you going to such lengths to find information about all the places you write about. There's so much to learn about our beautiful planet, its places and the various cultures. Thank you for your interesting info's.šŸ˜

Heehee, I think I've created my own way to.play this thread, travel Google maps for a place beginning with the correct letter, then read the Wikipedia entry on the place till I find summat that interests me.

Thank you, and for enjoying my typo šŸ˜†

U Thant Island, šŸļø Manhatten, NYC, NY.

An artificial island built during the construction of ā€œthe tunnelā€ (east river, IRT Flushing 7 train line, not the Lincoln / THE tunnel) itā€™s less than 100x200ā€™ wide (30x60m) & is the smallest island in NY. Which is saying something, as not only did shipping lanes demolish so many reefs that their mounds of detritus has attracted trees, but innumerable (and unnamed) islands and islets dot the NY coast. Good smuggling, the NY coast. Even if Bostonā€™s better.

Itā€™s a tiny little bizzarity.
