Cognitive Shuffling- for better sleep

Has anyone tried this?
Hope to give it a test run. Apparently assists with sleep.
1)Choose a non-emotional word - example - CALM (while resting in bed or preferred place)
2) Think of three to four words for each corresponding letter.
3) C- cool, cat, care
A-apple, ant, air
L-love, lamp, light
M- mellow, meadow,moon

Hoping members can add on to this ......to create an ongoing word list.

I had never heard of this one but I will give it a try. Thank you for sharing!💜

Never heard of this technique before, something tells me it'll make my mind run overtime. I'm always at a loss for words, especially positive ones.
I agree. It sounds like a good idea for some. for me, it would kick in some perfectionist frustrations I developed during religious education demands/ mistreatment during my childhood...all illegal now

Thanks so much for feedback. No idea, as have not tried- hence the question/ post.
Supposedly recommended by sleep study centres and some positive research- hence the curiosity.
