Ok, are there ways we can combat insomnia and anxiety?

Anxiety I know DBT helps that as does things like breathing techniques and metaphors and imagining. I have an app called What's Up which has been a big help with anxiety. JL advised of B2R as well (breath to relax). I have it but have not had a chance to use it. DBT self soothing & distracting can also help.

Will combating anxiety a bit help the insomnia? What seems to be the biggest issue at night that keeps you up?
