Could be going out on a limb here, but I'm thinking genital exams might be traumatizing.

I did not know. (Head in sand) Just thinking *some* humans might be triggered with yet more folks in their junk. Abuse / Trauma ... s'posable.Cha. Reactionary Laws. The entire sporting world is spitting teeth. Regardless of which side of the debate they fall on.
But that’s true with the sun shining on grass. Or fluffy kittens. Or a wearing a crucifix.Just thinking *some* humans might be triggered with yet more folks in their junk
Thank you for taking the time to write such an enlightening response. It's really great place to get perspective. But that’s true with the sun shining on grass. Or fluffy kittens. Or a wearing a crucifix.
(I physically assaulted someone for wearing a crucifix at one point, badly enough to definitely give them PTSD, (or countless other disorders/conditions)… just because I’d spent 3 months looking at bodies being crucified, well people being crucified; I just never knew them as people, luckily enough I suppose), and sort of lost my damn mind about the religion who celebrated such a thing. Less about the religion, their crucifix just glinted in the sunlight, and then there was a lot of blood and swearing and me being pulled off them, and hubbub.)
Anything on the planet has the potential to trigger someone else. No matter the content.
OB/Gyn exams & prostate/male genitalia exams are normal course of business for the overwhelming majority. Both for sports (it’s already a requirement for a complete physical to compete; adding in the genital exam is one of those reactionary laws “adding in” something already required).
So, for me at least, it’s more media stunt, than anything.
Yes, requiring anything of a sexual nature has the potential to be triggering.
It’s also been a required facet of competitive sports for over a century.
So?
It’s only the trans-media-hype which has changed the “meaning” of “complete physical” to be innately focused on “what phenotype are you?” As opposed to what genotype, which has also has its day in the sun… with XXY & other genetic anomalies banned, despite phenotype.
Like wha!?I'm thinking genital exams might be traumatizing.
Back from forcing kids into sunshine and rereading you note... I'd like to reciprocate.Thank you for taking the time to write such an enlightening response. It's really great place to get perspective.

Anyone who wants to have kids touched up just to determine what soccer team they should be on needs to have their head checked.
If that's what the legislation actually allows, yeah, I'd be outraged. I think it would be pretty confronting for any kid, that kid's parents and teammates. If having your groin inspected was a requirement to participate in sport, I'll switch to chess in protest!
No more, or less, than anything else.If you're gonna get triggered by something, torture worship bling is understandable
That's All Im saying elsewhere. Judgement might slip a bit with exhaustion. Its a brotherly observation. No more, or less, than anything else. (Your way is fine)
I was totally in the wrong… mixing up times/places/people.
