yes I have had this happen. It doesn't happen any more. Just keep going and hopefully you have a therapist who understands this and will be patient with you until you feel safe enough to talk about what you need to talk about

All I can say for me, is it was a type of flashback, and the "person" traumatised (me, but a part of me) was still in the past. It's really hard to explain. It's a strong form of dissociation for me. Very strong and it's a protective measure, very automatic, and the root cause for me was not feeling entirely safe with the therapist
