I would close this thread if I could. Turns out she hates the chair and even though the hip that is in place now is just a place keeper designed to carry about 25% of her weight while the infection she got in her incision clears, she insists on using her walker and ignoring the doctors orders to use the chair.
I have written this next paragraph 4 times now but I just can't send it. I can't provide an explanation of the situation. It just is. If she damages the prosthetic, there is no further option. She will be bedridden, and right now that appears to be the goal. That is a subject for another thread, this one was supposed to be about healing and it isn't anymore and should be closed. My apologies.
