My question is: Does anyone think emotional regulation, mindfulness techniques, relaxation techniques, grounding techniques, distress tolerance skills and calming strategies help with suicidal thoughts and mental health problems

i swear by all of those techniques for my personal mental health, but mastery takes time. they are not microwave solutions.

Yes, I think they work, with or without a therapist.
