How to cure myself alone or online

So basically my abuser was my mother, which I'm living with right now and since I'm not allowed to do anything on my own there is no way for me to go to a therapist or anywhere really, as well as I can't afford anything. Are there any good resources or online help that you would recommend?

There's definitely workbooks for CBT that are available online that might give you a bit of a jumpstart with sorting out thoughts and feelings and learning how to manage them.

Are you safe? For pretty much any kind of mental illness, the first priority is going to be your safety, and then making sure your basic needs are all being met.

With ptsd, most therapists are also going to want to see you safe from your abuser and stable before they get into harder recovery work. Because we can't heal from abuse while we're still in the middle of it...

There is a book called “Self Therapy” by Jay Earley, which has a workbook that goes along with it and can be done alone or with a trusted person.

Also there are online therapy services, not sure their availability in Mexico?

Finally there are apps which have peer support and pro support for a fee, like 7 Cups. I think there are therapy AI’s now which help train your brain to support your self.

Have you used the book yourself? I'm curious about how useful or difficult it might be. Or if it is OK for a trauma victim to use.

Thank you for worrying about me :) I have found some but I'm scared to call to be honest. I'm scared of being misinterpreted and have my mom done something as a result, but I will try not to be a coward haha
