How to remember more of your therapy session?

I can relate to that too. So many helpful things come up during session, I walk out, it leaves, the week passes. Rinse and repeat. I often have complained to her that during the week when something happens, I can't recall the ideas, the principles. Little of what I learn seems available outside of the session.

I realize that I'm in a different frame of mind during session (and sometimes the 20 minutes preceding it) than I am during the week. It takes some concentration to bring it all back, yet if I try to hard, I can't get to it.
