Well, Keppra is a legit seizure medication; your dose (at 2500mg/day) is still under the recommended therapeutic dosage for adults, but I don't know if you've told us how old you are...still
How much mg/day of Keppra (in your opinion) do you think I should take everyday? Well, I'm 29 years old. I'm about to be 30 years old next month.
Testing is also how they would discover if any of your seizure activity is related to psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES).
Yep, it sure is.
It's not uncommon for people with epilepsy to also develop PNES, as a result of having their "regular" (epileptic) seizures being improperly or inconsistently managed.
Yep, that's how people develop PNES just by being improperly or inconsistently managed.
Depending on what country you're located in, you may need to be referred to a specialist.
I do live in the United States. Okay, I'll see if my doctor can refer me to a specialist.
Is it possible you did have a harsh tone?
Well, I used to not have a harsh tone in the past. I started having it when my friend gave me his harsh tone. When I was dealing with his harsh tone for months. His harsh tone went inside me, and I was developing it little by little. Then when it went to years, I started developing it more & more. I didn't know what to do at the time. It's like my friend wanted me to be his therapist, and I was not a therapist at all. The reason why he was super harsh was because he had no girlfriend, (sure it sucks) but he should of just moved on right away & got used to being single until he got a girl that he likes. It's not like that certain ex girlfriend of his was the only one for him. There were other females out there that he could of got. I was extremely bothered by him of how he acted with me and couldn't handled being single was because for the attitude he gave me, I was always nice & respectful to him, and I felt like I didn't do anything wrong to him. The reason why I was extremely bothered by him of not handling being single was because I was single too, and I was never taking my frustrations on him just for being single. I actually loved being single alot. I don't really like having relationships is because they're really complicated. I would have to help that certain girl of all times when she is in need, and I would feel like I wouldn't get some me time at all. Relationships would be all about having to help the girl only instead of myself too. I'm different. People that I know in real life likes to have relationships, and I feel like I'm the only one in the world that likes to be single, but I know there's other guys in the world that just likes to be single, and have lots of fun.
it would be a really therapeutic experience for you to try and apologize to your friend.
I'll give it a try and see how it goes. If it doesn't work, I'll just have to move on completely and have to find new people.
Your doctor should/would have spoken to you about what type of seizures you're having?
Yeah, but my doctor never told me what type of seizures I'm really having. I was only given the higher dosage of Keppra to see if I would stop having more seizures or not.
Do you have a therapist? Becuase working through these trust issues might help? That's a lot of paranoia there in terms of a flatshare.
No, I don't have a therapist. I'm usually afraid that if I get a therapist, I would have to pay the therapist money. My brother used to have a therapist, but he had to pay the therapist like $35 or $40 every week. For my friend, he got a therapist, and he doesn't have to pay his therapist a single cent. I don't know how my friend gets a therapist for free.
yes i was just asking as i had thought you were aware of what type of sezure it was. you should speak with your physecian about it, 100%. absolutely.
Nope, I was never really aware of what type or types of seizures I really have. I'm still really glad you told me about psychogenic seizure because I would have to tell my doctor specifically about what type of seizure or seizures I'm really having because I don't know every single type of seizure, just certain ones. I didn't know all these types of seizures. I just only knew about certain types of seizures like absence seizure, tonic seizure, atonic serizure, clonic seizure, myoclonic seizure, & tonic-clonic seizure. Just not the psychogenic seizure one I didn't know about.
joey is correct as well-you could be having psychogenic seizures and epelepic seizures, or one or the other.
I think you assume joeylittle that is correct. It's just me and him have the same name joey. So yeah, joeylittle is correct too.
i just asked because you said it happens when you are stressed.
Yep, it sure does.
Psychogenic seizures aren't usually treated with meds. I second the idea of learning about what kind of seizures you have and getting into therapy.
Really, they don't? I didn't know that. Yeah, I'll learn to see what type of seizures I have.

The amount your doctor prescribes. I seriously hope no random internet strangers answer this, and don't change your dose based on any of this.

Not necessarily. In some cases yes. In others no
. I don't know how my friend gets a therapist for free.
Dependent on insurance from my vague understanding of USA healthcare.. worth finding out n making it a priority cos it can really help with some of the things you're experiencing.
It's just me and him
Lol @joeylittle I am about 99% sure is female. I suddenly have doubts as I say this but pre typing this I was 100% 😅😂😂😂

Sorry for asking this, I didn't know it was bad for me to ask this question. I didn't mean to. Hopefully no random internet strangers answer this.

Oh okay, it has to be insurance.

Yep, I figured somebody was talking to joeylittle, and not me. XD

This will probably come off harsh. But, really? I’m struggling to believe you’re a 30 year old American who doesn’t seem to understand when it’s appropriate to cost share living expenses; ask their doctor about the medication they’re being prescribed and why it’s being prescribed; why it’s inappropriate to ask a stranger who you have no idea is a doctor or not what dose you should be taking; that insurance exists in America and is most definitely not free. I’m sorry, maybe I’m just being an asshole here but something smells fishy.
