For f*ck sake. How many times a day do I need to hear the same shit from a week ago !!

Yes, I know that the weight watchers woman has a kidney infection that needs surgery!

Yes I already know she can't take the weight watchers classes whilst she is in recovery in hospital. (Duh...... She has had surgery.... With respect.... f*ck your weight watchers classes her health comes first!)

However!!!!!

If I mention one single part of MY medical issues, I am told to be quiet, in fact today I have been seen by my Doctor and prescribed a different mix of meds.

You would think my own mother would care more about the 140 tablets I take on a daily basis, rather than worrying about someone she sees once a month. !!!!!!!!!!!!! NO !!!!!!!

My health means so little to my own mother she dismisses it as a distraction from others pains. !!!

I AM HER FUKKING SON.....!!!

Who would not think that (MY) health would be more important than someone else's????

Get it out Laurie !! Reminds me of the sperm donor.... no one else's health meant anything, it was always about him or met with complete silence !!! Hopefully one day, you will reach the point of acceptance about your mom... I hate that she still has this kind of power... I didn't hate the sperm donor, I just became indifferent.
Sorry she isn't concerned... but we are.... keep us informed... and keep an eye open for side effects of new meds... we are here for you !!!:hug:

You don't have to 'get used to it', that means you are ok with it.. Accepting it is another way to look at it.. then you have no expectations of her, that she can not or will not change to meet your needs.
