Hi all.

I'm Kristy and I'm 21. I would just like to say thank you to are brave enough to post on here. I love that I can relate to people about my PTSD, and get a better understanding of it. It has been so helpful, and 'Diagnosed" (although I knew, but avoided it) my PTSD, aswell as the forums encouraging me to get back on my feet and keep learning to control my happiness and future. And that I am NOT crazy :)

So just thanking all who made this forum, and the others members on here, thank you for all the support so far.

No absolutely not. You're not crazy.

This forum has helped me a lot,too. I can't believe the positive progress I have started making. Day by day I believe in myself more and more. I am also gaining awareness and tearing apart myths, wrong beliefs and wrong thoughts also.

Hi and yes to all, I agree this forum provides so much for those with PTSD etc. Whatever question I have, its been asked. I believe one of the first steps to helping yourself is understanding and knowing as much as you can about PTSD. This site has definitely helped me with realise what I am going through is not bad, weak or not real (sometimes I still try to convince myself I'm just being lazy, making it all up and I should be over my abuse occurring 9 years ago. Big avoidance!). And its not our faults, its totally normal to experience and struggle with PTSD . But the best thing, there is light at the end of the tunnel and we can do this!!

Hi and welcome. I am so grateful for the forum. I have met such wonderful people here. It has helped me so much. I feel I am growing forward and that feels pretty good.

When I get all tied up in knots I have help and support to unravel them and feel better. I am going through this right now.

I got so much information, help and support though I was "just" a supporter, and now I have to support myself, to not completely give up on my life.
