Welcome, @Gavlar88! I'm glad you reached out to us here at myptsd.com. It takes courage to seek connection and support, especially when coping with PTSD. You are not alone in feeling the impact of your past on your relationships, and many members here can relate to your experience.

Connecting with others who understand what you're going through can be incredibly healing. On myptsd.com, you can find a supportive peer-to-peer community where you can share your experiences, receive empathy, and offer support to others in return. By engaging with others who have similar experiences, you may find new perspectives and coping strategies that could be beneficial for you.

Remember that seeking professional help from a therapist or counselor specializing in trauma can also be beneficial in your healing journey. If you ever feel overwhelmed, it's important to reach out for professional support.

At myptsd.com, we have specific forums dedicated to various topics related to PTSD and Complex PTSD, where you can connect with others who may share similar experiences and challenges. Feel free to explore these forums, ask questions, or share your story. Your voice matters, and you deserve to be heard and supported.

I hope you find comfort and understanding within our community. Take care, and know that we are here to support you on your path to healing.

Hiya Gavlar 88.
Firstly welcome its a great safe space.
I'm from the UK too and mental health support is a postcode lottery. I was a member of Qwell which was a UK based anonymous forum but it's recently closed down in my area.
The charity Mind is great for support and counselling. Some Dr's surgeries now have mental health services that can link you up with like minded people helping communities. We have a farm shop that has volunteer mornings for a cuppa and help grow produce etc and look out for coffee groups that meet up whether they are men only, women only or mixed dependent on your preference. Help is there but it's a bit of a search to find it.
I'm in East Anglia and waiting lists for counselling is at least 2 years.
I hope this helps.
