What are some of your favourite movies?

I was just thinking about some of my all time favourite movies. I love Snatch and also Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. And for comedies, Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a classic fave but I can't think what my more modern fave comedy movie would be. Chick flick wise, I'm definitely a sucker for anything with Sandra Bullock or Melissa McCarthy.

I loved the first couple you mentioned. And Monty Python; also rewatched A Fish Called Wanda the other day. We really enjoyed it.
Hey @Digz if you like Lock Stock and Two smoking barrels etc, I reckon you might enjoy "The Gentlemen". I think it's the same director, definitely the same style. Its a recent movie, I saw it pre covid. Really enjoyed it.

Oooo, thanks @mumstheword ! I just watched the trailer for 'The Gentlemen', it looks really good. I also love A Fish Called Wanda, it's really good. I like some of the Aussie classic comedies too, like The Castle and Crackerjack.

Disney movies and Pixar ones too. These help me to escape reality, but not dissociate. They keep my mind focused very well.

@Changing4Best I often watch Gilmore Girls for that reason too. I like something happy and fun for that purpose.

Moulan Rouge, The Big Fish, Longmire (a series), Star Wars, Star Trek, any science fictiony movie.

Secondhand Lions, Pay It Forward, Patch Adams, Wizard of Oz...and that's all that's coming to mind in the moment.
