The startle response turned up to 11.

You don’t realize you are feeling anything negative until the suicidal ideation pops up, then you try to work your way back down through murder, rage, and anger to find what triggered all that.

I’m back to avoiding looking at people in public. I tried to start looking at them but then I saw my dad for real. If I didn’t live in the same town and neighborhood as him maybe I could look at people when I go out. So I guess you know you have PTSD when you adamantly avoid looking at faces and keep music blasting in your ears in order to go shopping.

When you think you're sucessfullly ignoring all the things and facts and anniversaries and they don't bother you only to realize by the ways you act and feel and are thinking that they are impacting you greatly.

You realise that putting PTSD on your medical information or Hospital Admission so that doctors and nurses will be more considerate with you is fkg pointless because they have no clue how it may show in your behaviours in a medical situation.

I do that at medical appointments that involve needles.

Recently had a toenail removed and the podiatrist giving me the local anaesthetic ended up with my knee in her armpit.

To clarify, I was still on the couch, and she was still working on my foot, I was just trying to move more towards the window, lol.

No one got hurt in the procedure except my big toe.
