Cassidy Cooksey

My name is Cassidy Cooksey and I suffer from acute PTSD. I have been the victim of child Hood sexual abuse, and I have been the victim of teenage domestic violence so brutal he nearly murdered me on 4 separate occasions. Then I ended up with another physical abuser, then another, then another. Then I got married and had a beautiful baby boy named Michael. Then 5 1/2 months after he was born my little angel passed away from SIDS. I DIED THAT DAY. This is when I dove head first back into my drug abuse. Then my husband started abusing me and things got really really bad. I left him for another man who turned out to be a very unstable abusive man whose family also engaged in assulting me. After I was able to get away from him I was doing so much drugs that I ended up having a very bad nervous break down and was admitted into the Johnson unit and that was when I was diagnosed with PTSD, exstream anxiety, acute nightmare disorder and, depression. I started dating another man who I thought was my soul mate but turned out to be just like all the others. But the goog things that came from all that pain and suffering was I got clean and sober from Meth and I will celebrate 6 yrs this July and I will be clean from illicit opiates 5yrs in July from being on methadone. I also got the most beautiful dog named Akeeno who has changed my life in every way he saved me and my mom. So thats just a little bit about me.
