Grew up in a pretty severe dysfunctional alcoholic family where little love and support was offered, if at all, and most was dished out in sarcasm and negativity. Became an alcoholic, got into recovery which does help a lot, but lately, things have been spilling over in the form of paranoia, distrust and irritability and some lashing out at times, but nothing severe. I was in the Navy for 20+ years as an aircraft mechanic and after I retired, worked in the fire suppression industry for 9 years until the auto industry where I worked in Michigan began to have problems. Got offered a job doing what I did in the Navy and I love it. Lately have lost a lot of interest in art, guitar and travel or vacationing. Hoping things will change with help.
