I am a 39 year single women who suffers from complex trauma after prolongued abuse (emotional and physical) between age 6 and 18. Mostly suffering from depression and social anxiety. Medication to some extend helpfull, but tackling core behavioral issue (avoidance) with therapy. Currently starting with emdr.
I expect it will be a long and heavy road. I find this forum very validating and there is lots of wisdom around here!
