I am an army wife with five kids. My husband deployed in 2012 to Afghanistan and seemed to adjust fine to home life. However, he has been hiding his PTSD for so long it has now taken its toll years later and he can no longer cope with the emotions, flashbacks, guilt, and shame he deals with. I'm trying my best to understand this illness in hopes that I can help him when he is ready.
