Grew up in the suburbs; my extended family in the city were my saving grace. They were so loving and NORMAL. Life was great until it all broke loose when the memories came but I am getting better, slowly but surely. Sometimes thoughts of suicide come up but they are decreasing. So, I strongly advocate meds and counselors.
