My name is Victoria. I'm a 36 year old military wife in the middle of a divorce.
On Friday, January 13, 2017, a man I'd recently ended an abusive relationship with, broke through my front window. He shot an entire magazine of .45 golden saber rounds into my best friend, my daughter's dad, the love of my life, whom I'd just reunited with after over a decade of not speaking. He hit him seven times, three in the head. He reloaded and pointed the gun at me, as I pleaded on my knees asking why he was doing this... Then he told me "you get to watch", and put the gun to his own head and pulled the trigger.
I'm lost. My ex came here to kill me. He made that clear in the suicide letter he emailed to God and country (even broke into my husband's military account and sent it to his entire command and unit), but instead left me here to scream at everyone and no one "why?".
