Dealt with abuse my whole life from both inside and outside the family and it is still ongoing.
When I was 12 years old we moved to this tiny BFE called Buda Texas and we weren't even in the town itself we were like 5 to 6 miles outside of town, I went from going to the Y with my family and going to the library to nothing and this seriously impacted me plus we had neighbors who are/were Christian Fundamentalists and with my family being Catholic you can imagine I was told my deceased relatives were in hell and I would go there too unless I was saved. These people I will call the L's as I'm not sure if we are allowed to name people or not, From oldest to younger Henry (Hank), Cynthia (Cindy), John, Michael (Mike), and David. The L's had stable electricity, stable phone service and cable, none of which my family had. Their dad Hank worked for the same State Employment Agency for decades in Downtown Austin and their mom Cindy was a stay-at-home mom whom, cooked good home cooked meals, as well as home schooled her three boys, she didn't like me and treated me like I was a mean idiot, she liked my sister though because she didn't have a daughter. This family had metro numbers so people from Austin could call them which helped them out tremendously socially as a lot of people from the area that I knew lived in Austin, so it was long distance for them to call us, this caused problems if an activity was running long John could call his family with a few quarters, he asked his folks to call my parents to let them know about things taking longer but his folks never did.
