    Delay-onset ptsd

    One of my support buddies had an 'incident' that he washed over. He's now in as bad a state as me. It happens - the main thing is to recognise it and get help. Days get brighter, days get darker. But I have found talking to people that truly understand helps more than any medication could.

    I hope your Doctor told you something you needed to hear. PTSD or not. You've had a trauma - end of story. Do you have the disorder - who knows? Keep talking. That's the key!

    Debilitating Fatigue...downright Exhaustion...

    From what I'm experiencing, there are two forms of fatigue: physical and mental. Your body may well be refreshed from sleep, but your mind isn't. I've had to learn which is which. If your dreaming a lot, or having nightmares, it's only your body that's getting recharged. Is that happening to you?
