Tracy and Mark

We are Mark and Tracy Ransom. We are a 37yr old just married 09/17/16 couple who both struggle with PTSD. We have 5 kids between us. My (Tracy typing) PTSD is from being raised by an extremely abusive father who was a Vietnam vet and K-9 cop with severe PTSD who physically abused me and only me and not my mom or 6yr younger brother, and verbally and emotionally abused us all. Also I've been robbed at gunpoint multiple times, been sexually assaulted, and fell 3 stories down into an ally (while self medicating of course) onto my feet and shattered my heels and ankles! Mark was a young victim of sexual abuse, parents divorced around age 6 because of Mom's cheating, and he is an Army combat vet to boot! We both have severe PTSD to say the least. Thank God I've been educating myself on this issue for about 10yrs and have worked on how to be "normal in society" and as mentally healthy as possible for the past 2yrs. Support from others who truly understand what you're feeling and can relate and help is priceless!!! People should strive to help other people especially the still suffering is my belief. I'm a true flower child at my soul and I've just grown to see the Amazing resilience of my forever trusting soul and true purpose for my actually surviving MYSELF! Hope to chat again soon we are not going anywhere. We are gonna struggle through this while he catches up to the healing and information he needs to acquire to even begin the process! YIKES! I knew it would be difficult, but he's my guy no question bout it, so I didn't think with my logical side of course, but We are committed 100%!! We will be eternally grateful for the understanding and help.
