Yes, tremendously. The problem however is the amount of bureaucracy you have to put up with to get the ball rolling. I almost gave up several times during the claims process but i'm glad i didn't.
I'm 100% disabled and i cannot think of a response to this question without telling them I have PTSD. Anyone know a way to gracefully and quickly answer with a vague response?
Prazosin works wonders for me, but i'm a big fat does of 12 mg. As well as other sleep meds. But I will say it's really nice having that deep black dreamless sleep it causes.
Has anyone had success with both together? I have been taking 300mg venlafaxine for a while now but my psychiatrist wants to halve it and add wellbutrine into the mix to deal with some depressive symptoms.
For me it usually comes after a panic attack. Last time i was out shopping and then got panicked and had a sort of vertigo which then led to me dissociating.
I take it because higher doses (9-12mg) are meant to stop you from thrashing in your sleep, at least that's what my doc told me and it does seem to be the case in my experience.
Yeah, I think i got up to 0.4mg clonidine before we had to stop due to low blood pressure, it did help a lot with my sleep though. Your doc will most likely start with 0.1 and go up slowly while monitoring your BP every time.
I have taken both. The clonidine worked much better but caused me some chest pain (my doc said it's because it acts directly on the heart). The prazosin just feels like a more mild version of clonidine.
