Some of J's family live in a dry county in the Bible belt. You have to drive to the next town to purchase. They still have what you would call speakeasy, people open their homes to neighbors/friends/family to drink.

Yes, we have refrigerated isles in our grocery stores. Most have beer on one side and liquor and mixers on the other. We also have what we call Party Stores. Everything you need for a party. Beer, liquor, snacks, ice, cigarettes, a few groceries, pizza... The U.S. is weird. Most of the States...

The most common ones we have in the Midwest of America are red, green, yellow and orange. Purple, white and black can be found occasionally at farmers markets during harvest.
