@Friday I apologize for mis understanding your comment and getting aggravated. I actually read what you have to say in other threads often because you are a marine vet. There was no calming my anxiety that day, I had very little sleep mixed with other things like the vacation situation adding to...
@Friday i do trust him, and you don't have to read this thread if it annoys you. I wanted to hear of other peoples experiences. I thought I could learn more hear but clearly i have to "calm my tits"?! Who are you to speak to me that way?!
Seriously it was a mistake to write hear. Never. AGAIN...
I guess what bothers me is before he went into isolation. I was asking about the trip he was going to work from the vacation house, so I said "well what if something comes up at work and you have to go out of town, you didn't tell work you were going on vacation" later he said "you dont trust...
He hasnt replied, he hasn't said no
We have been together for a year. I asked "are we ok" he said "sure". Our anniversary was today. He hasn't responded to anything else. Its hard because others say "why would you stay with him" because of these times he goes quiet.
Well I contacted him. He replied. I guess I always have a hard time understanding how he can easily isolate from me, but he goes to work, does everything else it seems....i don't know because we dont live together.

@anon1234 are you a ptsd sufferer or supporter? Just curious what you mean by you have a tendency to catastrophize?
@Friday he actually came over by the time Dec 24th came, and met my family. Which was a big deal, we had been good since then.
So as stated in a prior post, I'm with a combat marine vet. He is really wonderful, great guy. He tends to go into isolation, which I am getting better at dealing with. However we recently had a argument, I have generalized anxiety disorder and that day my anxiety was particularly bad. Well...
Ive not had a consistent relationship, I was hoping this would be it. I had a emotionally abusive ex who would ignore me intentionally. And we were together for a long time, then I stayed single for a awhile. So im not unfamiliar with distance. But I was hoping this time I around I would meet...
Bf is a combat Marine veteran, who isolates for weeks at a time. He currently is in isolation. Im frustrated because this is our first holiday together, but he is not talking or answering texts, he wont be around. I understand it's not fair to him for me to get mad at him, as he can't help how...
