    Ptsd And Dental Woes

My dentist made one for me - far from cheap!! But, it does keep me from damaging my teeth at night. It didn't take long to get used to it and I don't sleep without it. Fixing the teeth is terribly expensive so whatever preventative things I can do, glad to do it.

    Ptsd And Dental Woes

Yup. My dentist also makes a comment about how much the insides of my cheeks are chewed up. I have a bite guard for the night but have thought about getting something for during the day. I chew gum a lot to protect my mouth at least a little. I have spent a fortune on broken teeth, crowns, etc.

    Pets & Nightmares

I have a 10 month old GSD who is sometimes completely clueless. Typical for an adolescent GSD, I am told. But, he sleeps with me every night. When I fall asleep he is lying at the foot of the bed. When I wake in the morning after a night of nightmares, he is lying next to me with as much of his...

    Our Pets

Well, my 10 month old GSD didn't forget that the hole in the yard fills with water when it rains. It is about 8 inches deep and he was covered in mud from his belly down. For a dog that loves the water, he sure became an idiot in the tub when I washed off the grime! You'd think I was trying to...

How Did You Sleep Last Night?

Slept a lot. Fighting really awful allergies so I am just exhausted all the time. Allergies and a bug of some kind. I have been having nightmares every night. I can remember bits and pieces - but that is it. I wake up tired. I am always tired. Can't seem to sleep enough.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

Still sick. Sore throat, low grade fever, congestion. Combination of allergies and a bug. Yippee!! Eyes are itchy. Just want to curl up and not move.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

Father and divorce. Makes being sick just so much more fun. It was great to hear my T agree with me today that I am walking on an edge of implosion. I think it is a good time to dissociate.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

Feeling rotten. Achy and a wicked sore throat. Saw my new T for the second time today. I like him but after 45 minutes of tears, I am pretty exhausted. A lot to try and process.ill physically and mentally. Always fun. Ha!

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

Hugs to everyone! Feeling disconnected. Spouse was around all day and by days end, all the muscles in my back are in knots. Wicked sore throat from the sinuses because of allergies. Basically feel like I have been hit by a bus. Don't know if it is all anxiety, allegies or I am greeting a bug...

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

Sad. Tired. Nightmares last night that carry over into today. Doesn't help the spouse is here and lying to me. Sick to my stomach.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

I feel anxious. I have a headache and I am sure it is anxiety induced. Had an OK Easter. Dinner with friends but I felt very separate and disconnected. Still feeling disconnected from everything. Just existing.

Is Ptsd The Reason Why My Hands Wont Stop Shaking.. Ever?

Me, too. My friends know I am feeling anxiety because my hands start shaking. The more ithimk about it, the worse it gets. At the end of particularly difficult days, I am exhausted from all the shaking. I really dislike this symptom and my frustration with it generally doesn't help.

How Did You Sleep Last Night?

Wicked nightmares. I think I am getting the bug my family had but I can't tell if the reason I can't breathe is anxiety, asthma or a virus. Can't breathe = nightmares of collapse/suffocation. Ugh. No wonder I am exhausted.

What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

We buried our father one week ago today. In some ways it seems like yesterday and in others, a lifetime ago. While I am grateful for the time I spent with my father before he passed, it is also causing nightmares. He withered away before our very eyes and was in so much pain. I just can't even...

    Stressing About New T

Thanks. Turns out today wasn't much better. It seems I am too screwed up for them to help. Yes, I was told I have too many issues. The person I saw today defended the person yesterday... "People get overwhelmed with what they are hearing." seriously?? SHE was overwhelmed by my issues?? How the...
