@Healing Reins I think self sabotaging can come from many things most of all being fear and not knowing how to cope. I've done it. So I get that. Is that what happens with you and can you share any coping skills you've learned?
Hi @Iworry4him,
I truly understand your situation. I've been going thru the same thing for just about a year and a half now. It's hard I know. I've shed tears myself all while reading and trying to understand. It's the push and pull when things tend to get to close or even resembles a...
Thank you guys.. I have an appointment with a life coach/therapist next week and I started putting some distance between me and my partner. I just want a break and for her to wake up.
I woke up this morning not quite myself. For the past few weeks I haven't been myself. I have been sticking by the side of someone who refuses to get help with PTSD. I have become a little withdrawn, irritable, and emotionally numb. Has anyone experienced anything like this. I am usually a...
@Want to help I agree with Justmehere. I've come to realize that my own emotional and mental health is just important as the sufferer I'm supporting. Educating yourself, getting to know others that are going through similar situations, venting, and for myself I'm looking forward to seeing a life...
I'm angry because:
You say you love me
You have no problems walking away
You won't get help
You never feel remorse
You don't care that because you suffer, I suffer

I've been able to deal with them in other relationships. I never had to deal with them to this extent. I really understand how you feel our whole relationship has been off and on. At this point I'm numb to the making up to break up again.
She is an army vet. Therapy is available however she's tried talk therapy before but she said that it didn't help. She has many of the symptoms I've read about especially the avoidance symptoms.
No she's not in trauma therapy. She complains a lot and according to her our disagreements are always my fault and they are petty to her however she is the one that continue to argue. As far as the not doing enough goes... I just don't love her the way she needs to be loved. We have been off and...
Hi my name is Trice and my partner has PTSD. We've been dating for about 2 years and I am at my wits end. I absolutely adore her however I am clueless on dealing with the issues. She never wants to talk about the diagnosis. I can never do enough to make her feel loved, wanted, nor validated. I...
