    CBT App for my phone

I just wanted to share that I found an app for CBT for my phone, and it's amazing. It helps me remember medication, does breathing exercises, checks in randomly throughout the day to see how I am....um there's thought re-framing, all kinds of things. I'm really finding it helpful. I won't say...

DID High Dissociative Experiences Scale score but not DID?

@Justmehere I was worried that I had DID. Only reason is that I will be in a state where I believe I'm a child, sometimes without any warning, sometimes after flashbacks. I do not, though, as far as I know.

    DID OSDD Type 1?

Thanks, I'm sorry. I am trying to get the posts in the right place and often forget about previous posts.

    DID OSDD Type 1?

@Abstract I was diagnosed with DD-NOS but didn't know enough about it to understand what it meant until I started getting obsessed over missing time and being told that I believed that I was a child, who answered to my name. The more I read, I found the OSSD-1a online and then asked my...

    DID OSDD Type 1?

So, I asked my therapist if I had OSDD-1a, and she said yes. She didn't want me to feel like I had a label, and just wants me to do the trauma therapy and resolve these things together, that it didn't really make a difference. I suppose this is true, but I'm one of those people who will search...

DID High Dissociative Experiences Scale score but not DID?

Dissociative Experiences Scale Your Score: 1310 / 2800 46.8 is my score and they say that people with DID typically score in the 40s. My therapist told me today that I have Severe PTSD with Dissociative Amnesia but not DID. Hmmmm.....

Childhood Dissociation And Memory I Had

The thing is, I don't really know. I have these dissociated states where I am the age I was at the time of the abuse, this time, I was 5 years old. I have no memory of it, and my therapist says that I don't say my name is anything other than Beth, so she doesn't think it's DID. I have the...

Childhood Dissociation And Memory I Had

I had this experience earlier this week. I started having a completely immersive flashback. I know where I was but I couldn't see what was going on, I had intense pain and then the room went black and I was then sitting in the bathroom 5 hours later in my therapist's office. This same thing...

    DID OSDD Type 1?

I am doing my own research and my new therapist does treat DID. Yesterday was the first time I've ever lost time in her office. I wonder what her opinion will be. I will continue to research and try to find information on symptoms that are similar to mine. Could be impossible to find, but...

    Really struggling, feeling hopeless

I often feel the same way. I feel like as soon as I make progress I go backwards again, so what's the point of trying? The only reason I continue to fight is that I have a son who needs me. It is very hard to get through this part of therapy, but the good news is that it is over, you are in...

Seroquel turned out to be bad news - any experience weaning off of it?

I was taking seroquel for several months, and it was causing tachycardia, so we reduced my dose. The tachycardia didn't stop, and last night my heart rate reached 170, which is 10 less than when it becomes dangerous. It is just inappropriate sinus tachycardia, so it's nothing to be concerned...

What helps you when you feel suicidal?

I start saying the mantra, I love my son, I love my son, I love my son.....and sometimes I take it one breath at a time. Having a child really cements me to this awful world.

Ummmm, no. I've actually never come across the term. What does it mean and how do you do it?
