    This is really interesting, I'd be interested to hear how this progresses, my thinking was if the person is not in a good place on the 6th then maybe this would add extra pressure but I guess if you are not communicating on the days before hand then maybe this acts in a good way?     @emz315 She does. She has said that she knows and trusts that I would never do anything to her but I can see sometimes she is constantly on edge, sometimes it calms but sometimes it doesn't. Out of curiousity, what kind of boundaries did you set? I hadn't read anything about that on this forum

    It's really amazing to see the concensus from all of you on this, this makes so much sense. I think I had already accepted the numbing and avoidance and made peace with the fact she will disappear but this just makes it all the easier to understand and accept even more.
