I’ve got a Nikon D500 with series of lenses. The big lens below is a 200-500. It’s a fantastic set up for wildlife as it has an accurate autofocus system and can take up to 10 pictures per second. Which just means when I make a mistake I get 30 bad pictures instead of 1......?

This very cute bird is a Lazuli Bunting. Had to take it through the window as they are very skittish.

This was taken at our old family cabin built in 1955. As you can see the dogs pretty much have free reign.
I think the conversation between the dogs went something like this. “There’s that squirrel Stanley. When I give the word we rush him” ?

So we finally have a break in the weather and I'm out with the camera. At first I figured this was an Golden Eagle as he was way up there and hard to see. It was only when I loaded the photos on my computer that I realized it's a Turkey Vulture or Turkey Buzzard (my telephoto lens is way better...
So the raven that I took a picture of awhile back of has decided this is a good tree. Much to the chagrin of my dog. I think she wants to be able to fly so she can herd him....lol.
Man I am jealous of you all that live in warmer climates. Not much of a picture but this is what I woke up to today....?
Tomorrow I’m going to have a little chat with Mother Nature and find out where the heck our spring is.
