@whiteraven your cat is beautiful. I'm sorry she is having to undergo chemo and truly hope she makes it thru. I had a Tortie for 24 years. I miss her still. Her name was Diva. Give your baby a hug for me if she will let you. And a hug for you loving your girl so much!

24! Wow. My other is 17. This girl's name is Silk. Aren't torties amazing?

Wow, @Fahrenheit451 , those shots are amazing, as always. Loving all the animals and feathered friends shots, for sure.

Dragon flies are one of my favorite companions this time of year....

Took a walk back to my favorite spot at the mountain stream, where I have the heart shaped rock memorial for mom, and found this pretty big tree top that's from a dead tree smack dab in the middle of it. Glad it happened when I wasn't visiting. It's a lot longer than the picture shows. I had been wanting some bigger limbs over there to put the mushroom logs on. Well, ta-da! Thanks, mom. lol

A tulip poplar bloom blown to the other side of the yard...spreading its beauty all over...

The little mountain stream doubled in width and tripled in depth, if not more. Now it sounds and looks much like a white water rafting adventure in some spots...wish I could attach the sounds...

At first I thought this was mountain laurel, but nope. Kinda looks like pink honeysuckle. Will have to dig deeper and find out...rhododendron, perhaps....hmmm...

Fresh herb harvest - dill, cilantro, peppermint, and chives....wish I could attach the smells...

Decided to add a little more color to my masked self, and included a nice magnetic message to use as a daily reminder...
