I really like the stress cup explanation :). Is the pstd stress part more of less permanent fixture of one's psyche? Like you can deal with bad stress with good stress and by taking care of oneself but is the pstd part of cup's volume permanently taken?
Do you have a trusted person likeva friend or a family member you would be comfortable talking about this? Or a counselor/priest/social worker?
Would you have a possibility to get away from your apartment and stay with family or a friend for a few days? I am sorry what you going through :/.
Also maintaining your daily routines might help to dealing with the emotions and shock what your experience has caused. Remember also to continue doing things that give you pleasure: watch movies, do crafts/art, see friends over coffee or lunch etc. Life will continue even though it's now hard :).
Hang in there. Remember that you are have come a long way in just a few weeks. Is working from a local coffee house or library viable options of you need a calm space outside house?
I have noticed I am more productive if I actually eat lunch in peace without mixing it with work or daily assignments. Seems to help with the anxiety too.
