    Going From Prozac To Zoloft

I already have some fatigue from my adhd drug, (guanfacine), so don't need more of that. A sexual side effect is gonna be a huge problem. The wife will not be impressed. Thats probably the least desired side effect.

    Going From Prozac To Zoloft

Thank you for that information, Blackemerald. From what I'be been reading, it may be several weeks before I can expect to see something change. Also the side effect sheet is enormous! lol..looks like they wanted to cover all their bases! The possible combinations of medications for ptsd is...

    Prozac

I just started 10 mg Prozac. Only on second day, so can't speak of any side effects as of yet, but I'm taking guanfacine for adhd which helps with motor tics and such. Perhaps it will help keep any tremors at bay

Guanfacine And Concerta (ptsd And Adhd Treatment)

Update : have a new psy and we're starting with 10 mg of Prozac and currently keeping the guanfacine. The Concerta went bye bye almost immediately. Dry suggested some other nonstimulant adhd to try when the Prozac is established. We shall see!

Add And Adderall Xr - Does It Make Ptsd Worse?

I was treating with Guanfacine for adhd, and then doc added Concerta xr, which I think is similar to Ritalin I'm told, it made my anxiety(cptsd) unbearable after 6 days, so I stopped. I was only treating for adhd though at the time. I'm now seeing a new doc who is treating my anxiety with...

Using Google Earth To "visit" Traumatic Places

Yeah, If you could manage to focus on being safe in your chair while looking, then there can be some good come from it. I saw the place was torn down, so I got some satisfaction from that.

Using Google Earth To "visit" Traumatic Places

I'm in the process of "looking at" my painful moments. Seeing whats different now that I'm grown. I understand this can be a frightening moment for some, but It's beyond time for me.

Using Google Earth To "visit" Traumatic Places

Absolutely! I went to the site of the childrens shelter and it was an empty field. Guess they leveled it. I suppose thats a good thing. I still want to see a picture of it and finding that hard, but was neat to see where it stood. Hated that place.

Using Google Earth To "visit" Traumatic Places

I just did some homework to find the address of the children's shelter I was in as a child and took a little walk with google maps/google earth to take a look. I then took some walks through some childhood neighborhoods. I thinks its a good way to face some things when you can't yet afford to...

Does anyone else feel like a fraud sometimes?

I feel this way all the time. Like, I don't need all the attention, or maybe I'm thinking really that I don't "deserve" it. I constantly think to myself, "it wasn't really that bad", until I'm saying things out loud to my T or wife and hear it coming out of my mouth and then think, "ok, yeah...

Had An Episode At Work About Someone Being "uncomfortable" With My Email

I'm very similar in that regard. Hadn't thought it was due to my ADHD, but maybe. I think fast and write faster. So sure, at times, I probably come across blunt as well.

Had An Episode At Work About Someone Being "uncomfortable" With My Email

Very good points! I hadn't considered how my boss may have been embarrassed by the whole mess. Although she knows I've been seeking employment elsewhere for two years since finishing my bachelor degree, and has since given me a letter of recommendation, but still, she may have been embarassed...

Has Anyone Told Possible Employers They Have Ptsd?

Yes! For those needing more supervision, their staff would spend lots of time on the job site with the client to ensure they were getting the job done. There were incentives for the employer as well. Not sure of the specifics to that, some kind of tax deduction or something along those lines...

Had An Episode At Work About Someone Being "uncomfortable" With My Email

Because of my boss's tone and choice of words. "unacceptable, inappropriate, uncomfortable". That's just the worst violation I can imagine being yelled at for. I guess I expected the worst when I didn't understand the infraction.

Has Anyone Told Possible Employers They Have Ptsd?

In my area, (northwest U.S.), there is an organization called skils-kin.org that helps with placement of people with disabilities. They are limited in area, but perhaps they can put you in touch with a similar org in your area. I've actually work with and supervised some of their clients in the...

What Is That Low Voltage Sensation?

Every time I start to believe i have a unique symptom, I stumble across it here eventually. I have had that electrical "hum" most of my adult life. I can really identify it now that it's gone. This whole journey began with me seeking treatment for ADHD, which I thought was my problem, (i...
