You are very welcomed here. People will listen and not judge. And they actually understand... (nice change.)
PTSD from childhood. Father is a psychopath. Tried to commit suicide more times than I know. Among other things. I know my mom tried to protect me. She told me later - as did other...
I had labrador retriever as kid. They love water. He saw me playing with feet in water. Jumped in as just a young puppy (think he thought it was solid), he freaked-out, but after that couldn't keep him out of water. Uh, I miss him.
When you wake-up, find your sheets, or bedding, in such disarray after going to bathroom in morning. Many people would think wtf happened.
You think...another very bad night.... but at least I got some sleep. Glad I don't remember most nightmares or night terrors.
Also, sardines great for their skin and coat. You might not like smell (unless $ gourmet type in olive oil), but my dogs use to love inexpensive type. Buy a can - see if he likes it.
My labrador went crazy over it. He preferred it to dog treats. He was an outdoor dog. But even indoor dogs I...
I was given hydroxyzine (Vistaril) found it hard to find, but I had side effects, or it was interactions with other drugs.
But I remember being VERY hopefully when told about it. I may retry in future.
@Panda Bear *hug* if you accept.

Helped me for awhile, then stopped. But could have been interaction with another drug.
But I think it can become dependent with long-term use.
But short-term could try. Just to break sleeping pattern cycle.
Glad you didn't.
Scary how often this seems to occur. P-doc never hearing of side effects before. Told doc side effects (but this was Zoloft), told "never in all my years have I heard of such a thing." Then told I read online. Told anything can be written online. I tell her these are government...

When you go to grocery store with small list (because you will forget something without.) Bagger stops you. Give you strange look because you left half your purchases behind.
Then you get home, and you remember you forgot the MAIN item you went for...even with list.
When cousin sends you cute photos she found from when you were very little. I was 5 or so. First formal is like so cute...next one someone else took...just looking at body language....thinking...WOW I was a very tense kid at such a young age.
