I'm much better in myself, had a quiet day but I keep expecting it to go wrong.
I'm aching all over as if I have worked out, which I haven't. I don't know if it is low iron or calcium which it has been before or something else. Oh well, plod on Crafty!
Just remembered...I had to...
Really. really upset, triggered and angry.
I've only been home for 1 day and my eldest son has just laid into myself and my husband over doing the dishes after we had had our evening meal He said we should just leave them and not rush to do them and that we were 'obsessed with tidiness.'
I...
Looks like you are doing a fine job Bloom - well done! How old are your children ?
This is what I am trying do with my son's. I have to drop the 'respectfully' bit at the moment as I have just found out that both my sons (and my husband) have Aspergers. They have all gone undiagnosed (my son's...
KP's flight was delayed this morning by 2 hours so she will miss her connection at Newark so they will fly to Charlotte rather than Orlando which means a 26 hour flight!
I wish KP and the family a very safe flight and a joyous and restful holiday. Hubby and I are house sitting for KP while she...
My cat Kimmy was my best friend as a child, the only one I could ever share things with. she was a gentle soul and I loved her. I have no memories of he not being there as a child - she died when I was 16 and it was a privilege to have he in my life. We got another cat, Tabitha, but she...
I'm feeling much better.
The man who's car I hit has contacted us and we have to pay out nearly £300 for the repairs, better than I thought but still scary.
My Son has had a verbal diagnosis of Aspergers Syndrome, we will get the full report and official diagnosis in about 3 weeks. Feeling...
Dear @BloomInWinter what and insight!
I have coped alone all my life, relying on my own strength and dissociating from what I couldn't handle. I just knuckle down and try to push through. I never thought of it as brave or having strength, which it is of course, I just wanted to 'get...
I am tired and stressed waiting for the man who's car I hit to get in contact. I am so anxious that we won't be able to afford the bill. Nightmares aplenty here.
I overdid it on Friday. It went bad then good then awful. I had to go to the hospital to see the haematologist and forgot that I had to be there 30 minutes before the appointment for the blood test. This caused me stress as I knew it would be hard to find a parking space. I had to run to my...
They are so cute @Dendrite!
I stayed over at @KP the nut 's house last weekend. This is her dog Max asleep and in a very odd position at my feet. he is such a soppy thing and all his paws were moving as if he was running!
I get very tense and since my dentist has given me a mouth guard to stop me clamping my teeth together at night, I have realised that I do it during the day too. I am trying to relax and allow my muscles and my jaws to relax. Similar to yourself @BlackbirdSinging.
@KP the nut If you need to talk just ring me. I was thinking about you, so glad it went well and it doesn't sound serious. So very glad that they have taken it seriously.
I am tired. I have had such a busy week with appointments for my youngest son with the Aspergers expert. They say...
@Lionheart777 Way to go! I am proud of you for even trying to give up smoking - keep at it you can do it!
I am feeling much better. I still have a cough but it is getting better and the infection has gone. I went to the dentist again yesterday and had my teeth cleaned and impressions...
I finally did it! Husband and I met with his sister and what a strange, surreal day it was!
We picked her up and took her to a local garden centre so we could sit and have a cup of tea.
As we were going to the cafe she said, 'oh I have no money with me,' and I said it didn't matter as my...
I am so much better. The antibiotics have helped to clear up the sinus and chest infection and although I have a residual cough it is far better than it was.
I still have a big load of latent anxiety because I know I have to confront someone and I'm dreading it.
@Petchen ...thanks so much I appreciate you dropping into the thread.
Here's an interesting development:
We are going through some rigorous question and answer sessions at a local hospital to determine if my youngest son has Aspergers. I always though my husbands family were 'odd' and had some...
I now have a chest and sinus infection and conjunctivitis. I've got some antibiotics and am taking paracetamol to lower my temperature.
Feeling very ill. :(
