I struggled with sleeping the last couple of nights. One I went to sleep fine and woke up at5am, last night I struggled to sleep and although I woke up at 7ish I had a headache all morning.
I’m going to start with the meditation again tonight and see what happens. I think it’s the vaping which...
Today I went out after a couple of days at home. I went on the bus to a local town where I was able to buy the last of decorating items I need to finish my en suite. I started it months ago and was doing really well and then I hit a brick wall and everything went downhill. I started on it again...
happy to report I had been able to stick to the 10pm bedtime and my smart watch this morning showed pretty good results for stages of sleep. I stopped drinking caffeine about mid afternoon which has probably helped 😊
I’m planning on getting up at the same time every day too even if I don’t sleep well. It feels like it’s going to be quite challenging because I haven’t had a routine in such a long time but I know it’s good for brain health. Hopefully it will be sorted prior to EDMR therapy.
The therapist said...
Didn’t sleep too well last night still awake at 3am. I’m still going to bed at 10pm so it should fall into place sooner or later. Since I’ve been at my cousins I can’t remember any noticeable heart beats which I usually get often. I think it’s because I’m catching up with what happened in...
I don’t think it’s for anything to do with you. People do things like that all the time. It’s not unheard of because they might have something else going on in their life unrelated to you. Try not to take it to heart and who knows, maybe they will get back in touch in the future
I’m glad you’re there getting the help you need. The sport and eating well are really good things to be doing. Any improvements in physical health or habits is definitely a positive thing that has lasting effects
Hi, lovely to meet you.
It’s definitely a roller coaster for me but I am waiting for EDMR. The coping tools I have used for myself are trying to distract myself and speaking to a trusted friend or family member when I start spiraling. I think also paying attention to my diet has helped a lot...
I don’t know but I wonder if the adult social work teams based in your local authority / council could offer or point the direction as to where to get an advocate. They should know how to get one
just reading Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Joe Dispenza. It’s about vibrational frequencies in the universe and how thoughts interact with the universe because of the cells the body is made up of.I’m not quite sure if it’s just to do with a self fulfilling prophecy thing like The...
Maybe a good direction or response to the people when they say just get over it is to say to them they wouldn’t understand that’s why they have mental health nurses, psychologists and psychiatrists highly trained in their field.
The body keeps the score is a great book. It helped me a lot. I have a neighbour who has been lovely but tells me sitting round doing nothing will make me more depressed. I’ve tried to explain the roller coaster effect but some people think it’s a case of pulling your socks up and things can be...

Probably wrong but Do you think the panic is sometimes like a sense of urgency to get things back to normal too? Or fix it all quickly. The advice I got on here was to sit with the feeling and just be gentle with yourself, it’s all baby steps and to just let myself be x
Trust that it will...
Thankyou , i had three kids by the time I was 20 so it hasn’t been an easy life for them either. They are all settled though so that’s a plus. When they were giving me a load of grief in January I basically said stop giving me shit and tell your dad instead but they because he’d tell them to...
Not a good nights sleep. I’m devastated I’ve pushed my kids away and I’ve notice weirdly that the right side of my head where I had the trauma nightmare headache, feels what I can only describe as wobbly or off kilter
I’ve lost weight by cutting out most processed food to change the gut microbiome to affect the serotonin relationship between the brain and gut the Zoe podcasts or with Rangan Chatergee.
I know people may not feel eating fresh food or eating a healthy diet is more expensive but I’ve been doing...
